Fire Baskets

The fire, stood upright.

A basket burns vertically, so the light sits higher than a bowl and carries across the terrace, and the fire shows through the sides. That's most of the reason to have one.

The Swedish torch baskets are the small ones. They hold a single log, take a pan on top, and pack small enough for fishing trips and the allotment.
